A Proficiency Testing is an interlaboratory trial, organized in conformance with ISO standards, through which you can demonstrate the performance of your laboratory.
An external organization supplies standard materials of homogeneous composition upon which laboratories perform pre-determined analytical tests without knowing the concentration of the analytes they have to look for.
The program is conducted anonymously: the participating laboratories make their determinations in a pre-established time period and then submit their results to the organizing agency.
The end product of a Proficiency Testing is the evaluation of the tests, expressed in a collection of data, distributed in periodic official reports in which single participants recognize themselves by way of a code.
All this allows:
the laboratories
- to compare their own performance to that of other laboratories, and
- to choose the most accurate methods
the users of the analyses
- to verify for what parameters dependable responses are obtainable, and
- to verify which laboratories guarantee good performance
the diagnostic industries
to identify the parameters that need better products.

We are glad to inform you that the list of molecules to be searched in the Test Material “U1034” (promazine urine) has been integrated.
In addition to promazine, now you have the possibility to analyze it also for acetopromazine, triflupromazine, chlorpromazine and propionylpromazine.

We are glad to inform you that the milk Test Material “MI1032” will be supplied in lyophilized form, in order to facilitate shipping and storage.
The instructions to reconstitute the powder will be inserted in the package together with the sample.
